Le Mans Series ~ Round 2
The
second round of the 2009 Le Mans Series was
staged on the famous Spa-Francorchamps circuit
in the Ardennes region of western Belgium.
This is a venue that hold special significance
for Mike Newton and Thomas Erdos: in 2007,
when RML took the team and drivers titles
in the Le Mans Series, Mike and Tommy lead
LMP2 from start to finish at Spa, and crossed
the line third overall - the first time an
LMP2 car finished on the overall podium in
